Leather Restoration for Your Car

I have been looking for my dream car... in particular, I had been searching for a 2006 GTO, with automatic transmission, silver with leather interior and the overall sport package, for over a year. Sure, there are quite a few on the market, but since that car is no longer in production, finding one to meet my criteria was no easy feat.

FINALLY, I found the dream car, low miles, great shape, one owner, the works. But I opened the door and noticed the leather seats were scratched up bad. But I had been scouring the market and this car, despite the leather interior needing repaired, was otherwise perfect.
I decided to purchase my dream GTO anyway. As I am a pretty crafty person, and I have seen leather repair kits and leather repair options occasionally online, I was sure I could find a way to repair leather. I was confident that the interior could be remedied. As I began my research, I found out some fascinating details about leather repair. Not only are there leather repair kits, but as an avid reviewer of products, I noticed that they sounded pretty awful. Sticky, gooey applications, stuff that looked like tape, not to mention that after the repairs were made, most of the reviewers said that color and texture results looked terrible. I don't want to try something that is only going to be a "maybe" successful fix in my dream car!
Then I came across a company that does leather repairs for furniture and cars, which sounded awesome. They not only had great reviews, but also great pictures and a wonderfully informative website. I was completely interested in learning more and also seeing if they could help me! Not only did this company have fantastic photos of before and after work, they have videos of the leather repair process on band are also able to do all repairs on site, whether I was at home or at work! I felt like I actually learned a lot about something I wasn't even sure was possible before I gave them a call. Leather Repair is not very well known, which is even crazier because it is so easy to apply to nearly any kind of leather damage that can happen. They can pretty much fix anything, whereas before, I thought (as I am sure many folks do too) that if leather furniture or car seats get messed up, that is just it. They are ruined. I was so happy to learn that this is not true at all, and almost anything could be restored.
When I called for more information, the leather repair specialist was very professional and answered all of my questions very patiently, and even offered options as to how the repairs could be made. I just sent them a few pictures; they gave me an estimate, and then came right to my driveway to fix the seats! I couldn't believe how easy it was.

Right before my eyes the technicians smoothed out scratches and mended the tears of the leather. Even the cigarette burn marring the passenger seat was wiped away. Then they made leather dye in the exact customized color that matched my GTO's interior, right there on site, it didn't come out of a can or bottle. It was made by hand specifically to match the exact shade of my car's interior! I was so impressed. The leather repairs were incredible in and of themselves, but the custom dying was beyond my expectations!
My GTO finally was the finally matching the picturesque image that was in my mind from the beginning as I had searched for the car. The leather interior was now as beautiful and spotless as the shining exterior. The leather repair could not have yielded better results and I am absolutley thrilled. I will also keep leather repair and color restoration in mind for the leather furniture in my home, because you just never know when you might need it! And after seeing how this used car could look like it has gotten a totally new interior, I was totally impressed.
